She has 25 years of experience working with clients to tell their story in a compelling way, communicate their brand effectively and persuasively, and win new business. As founder and president of Sinclair & Associates, she has been responsible for writing both strategic and technical materials, successfully positioning her clients to win new business in highly competitive environments. She has presented proposal and technical marketing-related seminars and workshops to business and academic audiences in Mexico, France, Italy, and Hong Kong, in addition to major cities across Canada and the US. Beverley's proposal development and brainstorming win strategy/position statement development methodologies have achieved excellent results: More than 85% of the bids she has contributed to over the past 25 years have won new business worth between $100K-$1.6B. Beverley develops and delivers custom courses that address specific client requirements and goals. She was an adjunct professor of business communications at the University of Ottawa. She also taught business and technical English at the Naval Institute in Sardinia, and proposal management and development at the Schulich School of Business, Executive Education Centre, York University in Toronto. Beverley holds a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Ottawa; a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Western Ontario; Adult Training certification from the Ottawa Board of Education; and certification to teach English to adults (CELTA) from Cambridge University.
